The “RIBS” Kitesurfing Club is a temporary architectural structure inspired by nature. It adapts perfectly with the surrounding landscape. RIBS works together with an epidermis, making it a modular structure. It incorporates a membrane roof and facades that are easily adjustable according to weather conditions, be it seasonal or daily changes. This is accomplished with the simple wood “scissors” and membrane mechanisms. Three different configurations can be realized to satisfy the needs of the patrons.
