ABOUT

Luca Sgubbi hails from Imola, a Northern Italian city of Emilia-Romagna, which is considered the western entrance to the historical region of Romagna. His innate Renaissance approach from childhood, throughout his matriculation, and personal maturation, drive his enthusiastic pursuits spanning from his continuous exploration of the musical arts, cultural arts, culinary arts, historical research, photography and his dynamic love for learning multiple languages.

Inspired by the ancient, natural beauty of Italy, accompanied with his international travels, Luca focuses on being an innovative bridge and an ambassador for preserving the historical past while incorporating sustainable economic solutions for regional growth, as exemplified by his Master’s Thesis. It personifies his ever growing knowledge of applying new, ever-evolving architectural modalities. His core objectives are to realise solutions with conservation, functionality, and revitalization of spaces, that only architecture can contribute to the populace of any culture.
