Restauro Tassoni

Ferrara, Italy

2015

Palazzo Tassoni is a Renaissance palace in Ferrara, currently used as the headquarters of the Dipartimento di Architettura of Ferrara. Only a small portion of the palace, formerly used as a psychiatric hospital during the nineteenth and twentieth centuries, has been restored. The goal is to theoretically complete the restoration of the building. In particular, this design involves the construction of a new distribution element which connects the different volumes without damaging the structure or actual appearance, in order to enrich it with new elements that fit appropriately.
